UNS N06022 Hastelloy C-22 coils have a chemical composition of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten that is ideal. The nickel contributes to the Hastelloy C-22 coils’ resilience to wet chlorine and nitric acid mixes. The presence of chromium improves the resistance of these sheets to corrosion and oxidation. The manufacturing of UNS N06022 Hastelloy C-22 coils necessitates intermediate annealing. Although Hastelloy C22 Coils are ductile enough to be manufactured by cold working, work hardening may necessitate intermediate annealing. For hot forging in Alloy C22 Plates, the suggested start temperature is 1232°C (2250°F), while the ideal final temperature is 954°C (1750 Degree F). The Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of Alloy C22 Coils is a quantitative technique of determining corrosion resistance, with the higher the number, the better.
