SS 316L plate is used to make goods that are subjected to saline water, acids including sulfuric acid and chloride, petrochemical products and chemicals, and high heat, such as engines & motors. Tanks, supports and frames, casings and housings, engine, motor, and mechanical components and parts are all available.
In corrosive situations, the 316L Low Carbon variant is preferable. Both 316 and 316L stainless steels offer enhanced resistance to air corrosion, numerous organic and inorganic compounds, and food and drinks. It is critical to ensure that copper and zinc do not become impurities at the weld site, since this might lead to cracking. Many different forms may be made out of SS 316 and 316L Plates. They may be produced on carbon steel equipment and are easily blanked and perforated. Because of their excellent malleability, they function well in deep drawing, spinning, pulling, and bending.
We test these Plates to check their functional ability, the test we carry are the Mechanical and Tensile test, the Machining test, Hardness test, Mechanical test, Chemical test, the Spectro test, Flattening and Flaring test, Destructive and Nondestructive test, PMI test, Radiographic test, Visual test inspection. We always wrap these Plates in standard packaging, i.e. eco-friendly material to prevent them from scratches, and ship them in bulk in wooden or cardboard cartons for added shielding.
