The nickel alloys are similar except for the high level of carbon in 800 H and the inclusion of 1.20 percent aluminum and titanium in 800 Ht. To manage carbon as well as grain size, Incoloy 800H Pipes & Tubes. was replaced to 800H as this grade aided in optimizing the stress rupture qualities. Incoloy 800H is further upgraded to 800 HT, as titanium and aluminum are mixed to provide elevated temperature qualities. The nickel component of this alloy provides resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and precipitation embrittlement. This alloy’s overall corrosion resistance is also outstanding. It has expanded creep strength. These Incoloy Pipe and Tube is utilized in applications requiring temperatures of up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Incoloy Grade 800 Series of Pipe and Tube is also resistant to oxidation and nitriding environments. Cold forming qualities of Incoloy 800HT Pipes & Tubes. are also excellent. The grain size generated an undulated surface. Incoloy 800, 800 H, 800 HT can be welded using standard stainless steel welding techniques.
