Incoloy 825 Round Bars are corrosion-resistant alloys based on nickel, chromium, and iron. Because of their corrosion resistance, these alloys can be used at extremely high or increased temperatures. It’s also noted for its resistance to stress corrosion. Universal Metal Corporation is the most well-known and well-respected distributor and producer of Incoloy bars. The inclusion of titanium stabilizes the alloy. After fabrication, stabilizing the Incoloy 825 Bar has been shown to resist pitting and intergranular assault. This comprises welding, in which the Alloy 825 Round Bar is heated to a crucial sensitization temperature range of 650°C – 760°C. The use of Inconel 825 Round Bar in pressure vessels operating at temperatures up to 525°C has been allowed. At temperatures higher than 540°C, brittle phases can develop in Incoloy 825. As a result, it is rarely employed in applications where creep rupture qualities of the alloy are design concerns, both at these temperatures and at higher temperatures.
At 980°C, Inconel 825 Round Bar has the softest structure. Working temperatures should be in the range of 870 – 1180°C, with a finish temperature of 870 – 980°C. Incoloy 825 Round Bar can be welded using standard methods (GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (manual), and SAW). 940°C annealed Incoloy 825 Bar (UNS N08825) and other bars.
