Monel Alloy 400 is renowned for its robustness, which is retained across a wide temperature range. Monel is a suitable material for the chemical sector due to its resilience to acid and oxygen corrosion. Monel drill collars are used in oilfield applications. MONEL 400 Sheet can be used in oxidizing atmospheric conditions at temperatures up to and including 1000°F. If the alloy is in a decreasing condition, higher temperatures may be used.
