What are Titanium Stubends?
Titanium Stubends are alternative fittings to weld neck flanges consisting of short-length pipes. It has one flared end, and another end is welded to the pipe. These are mechanical joints identical to the diameter and wall thickness of the pipe. Titanium Stubends are paired and connected to pair of lap-joint flanges. These are intended for ease of installation and removal for cleaning and scrutiny.
Titanium used for Fabricating Stubends improves thermal corrosion properties. Titanium content improves the thermal stability of Stubends. The higher melting point of Titanium allows excellent heat transfer. It is resistant to several acids and chlorides corrosions. The Titanium properties are enhanced with slight integration of oxygen, cobalt, nickel, copper, and aluminium. Various grades of Titanium are used in industrial sectors. They are found with a small addition of molybdenum, vanadium, niobium, tantalum in some grades.

Titanium Stubends are used in several piping systems with low and high pressure. Stress initiated by flow pressure is restricted by excellent toughness and higher thickness of Stubends. These are good heat resistant at a wide temperature range. They are easily formable in accurate dimensions due to the excellent ductility of the material. There are types of Stubends like Short Stubends and Long Stubends. While connecting, it should match the dimensions of the pipe to gain a water seal connection. These are excellent durable, tensile, stress corrosion-resistant, and rust-free. These Stubends are robust and tough with excellent anticorrosive in acid, salts, and marine surroundings.
