What are the construction and features of Nickel Elbow?
Nickel Elbow is a component of pipe fittings used in the piping mechanism connection to transform the flow route. The Elbow was formed with commercially pure Nickel Alloy. It contains slight addition of Copper, Manganese, Carbon, and Silicon to improve strength and thermal properties. Copper helps in the improvement of the Corrosion opposing capacity of Nickel. The impurities are added to enhance the Nickel flexibility and toughness.

- Nickel Elbow types and function:
The direction of the flow in or 900 long radius Nickel Elbow and 900 short radius Nickel Elbow is changed at a right angle. On the other hand, 450 long radius Nickel Elbow and 450 short radius Nickel Elbow direct the flow at 450 angle. Long radius elbow is most preferred in high-pressure systems as it does not affect the flow pressure. In comparison, the Short radius elbow makes a sudden change in direction that affects the pressure of the fluid.
