These fittings are produced with ferritic stainless steel material known for outstanding thermal properties and non-hardenable features. SS 446 encompass alloying elements like Nickel, Silicon and Manganese in less amount. Chromium quantity is increased with higher Iron content. Slight Carbon and Sulphur addition support strength.  It is machinable with specific methods and tooling.

SS 446 Forged Fittings are formed in various types of components, sizes, dimensions and connections. Threaded forged fittings are well suited in low-pressure applications formed with standard threading techniques.
