Expander Flange and its features:
Expander Flange is defined as Weld Neck Flange type that enlarges pipe dimension on the flange association. It is easily connected to valves, pumps, and larger size pipes in restricted space. It also is used in place of flange and reducer. It contains a hub that expands to a larger size. It is useful in applications where the only larger pipe is connected with valves or piping vessels. It comes with a raised face-type connection that also benefits connection fixtures. Various pressure and temperature ratings are obtained with dimensions according to standards.

The function of Expander Flange:
These Expander Flanges are more effective than a combination of reducer and flange. It controls the flow by expanding pipe flow and also fits in compact space. The structure is stronger due to the uniform structure instead of two connected structures of flange and reducer. It reduces spilling risk and is connected with different connection types such as raised or flat face, ring type joint, lap-joint face, male-female type connections. These flanges are excellently finished with different coatings with paint or galvanization techniques.
