An orifice flange is used in conjunction with orifice meters to measure the flow rate of oil, gas, and other liquids carried through the pipeline. An orifice flange is used to measure the flow rate of fluid carried by the pipeline through a nozzle positioned on the flange itself. Pairs of pressure taps are machined on the orifice flange, eliminating the need for separate taps on the pipe wall. Our Orifice flange has a disc-shape, and this flange is established with either a Raised Face or a Ring Type Joint facing. These Orifice flanges are easy to identify due to they have a hole drilled through the face of the flange perpendicular to the pipe. They also have an additional set of bolts called jacks.
